Who We Are
The Association of Business Development Professionals (ABDP) is Uganda's premier professional body dedicated to advancing excellence in business development. We bring together seasoned professionals, emerging talents, and industry leaders to foster sustainable economic growth across Uganda.
Founded on principles of professionalism, innovation, integrity, collaboration and inclusive growth - ABDP serves as a catalyst for professional development while contributing to Uganda's economic transformation through ethical business practices and strategic partnerships.
As an affiliate partner of the Global Business Development Association (GBDA) based in Florida, USA, ABDP bridges Uganda's professionals with internationally recognised standards and certifications, ensuring our members are equipped to compete and lead in an evolving global marketplace.
Our secretariat is located on the 1st Floor of ESAMI Building, Bombo Road, Kampala - a home for the profession in the heart of Uganda's capital.

ABDP Uganda is governed by an elected executive committee guided by a formal constitution. We also have a Patron who provides strategic oversight and champions the association's mandate at the highest levels.
